Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Karate and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of North East Academy of Martial Arts's instructors and other staff members, starting with :

Shihan Eduardo Trotman  (Chief Instructor)  Shihan Ed Trotman is a 7th Degree Black Belt in Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate Do under Master Instructor Hanshi Greg Tearney. With over 40 years experience in the Martial Arts, he specializes in Adult Karate Training and Sport Karate Tournament Sparring Competitions. Shihan Ed is a two time member of the PKC USA Competition Team and has traveled to London, England for Sparring Competition.

Kyoshi Tisha Bronner-Trotman  (Chief Instructor)  Kyoshi Tisha is a 6th Degree Black Belt under Master Instructor, Hanshi Greg Tearney. She is the Creator of North East Academy's Lil Dragon and Little Ninjas Programs. She began her training in 1983, began teaching in 1987 and has been a Head Instructor of North East Academy since 1988 just after her High School Graduation. She specializes in Childrens Martial Arts Training and Fitness Kickboxing along with Sport Karate Kata Competition.

Renshi Tim Coyer  (Instructor) Renshi Tim is a 5th Degree Black Belt and has trained in the Martial Arts for 22 years since age 8. In fact, he was one of NEA's first Martial Arts students. His passion for the Art of Karate has developed him into an avid Martial Arts Competitor and Instructor. He currently is the NEA All Star Demo Team Coordinator, Team 'Cuse Competition Coach, Cage Fitness, Cardio Kickboxing and Martial Arts Instructor for students of all ages.

Renshi Nicole Bronner  (Program Director / Instructor)  Renshi Nikki is a 4th Degree Black Belt under Shihan Eduardo Trotman. With over 25 years experience, in the Martial Arts, she is the Coordinator for the up and coming North East Academy STORM TEAM.
